Due to the CAC’s collaborative efforts, 90 percent of the child abuse cases recommended for prosecution are prosecuted successfully.  To address the issue of child abuse prevention, the CAC has developed two prevention programs designed to start as early as possible with children:
Nurse-Family Partnership is a blueprint violence prevention program and is a nurse home visitation programs designed to work with first- mothers to provide a continuum of services to promote healthy pregnancies, healthy development of children, and healthy home environments.  The Nurse-Family Partnership serves 100 first-time mothers annually.
